This post is going to cover 4 topics: Character-Judgment-Common Sense-Executive Experience

Character: Obama: what can I say. He has in the main blocked every attempt to find out what has shaped his character. The only thing we can look at is what he has done and who he associates himself with over time to form an opinion. To be fair any conclusion formed will not be the most accurate because due to Obama's policies keep us from digging past the surface. But left with nothing else lets take a look. The five main area's we can look at are his status as a natural born citizen (one of the basic qualifications to even be eligible for the presidency), his education, his friends and supporters, his career accomplishments, and his stated social views.

When concerns were raised about Obama's status as a qualified candidate to be president, the quickest simplest thing to have done was provide his original or certified hard copy of his long form birth certificate. His response-did not provide this and as the issue escalated to a court fight to provide this information did everything in his power to have the issue dismissed versus just providing the document.

2.) He attended with the exception of his first 2 years of college, private or exclusive schools. For someone that talks of his struggle as a member of an underserved class of people he sure seems to have been able somehow to attend the most exclusive expensive halls of learning available in this country- from his exclusive school in Hawaii to the Halls of Harvard. How did he do this? Who knows He refuses to allow his college transcripts and financial aid documents to be seen.

3.) As far as his associations/friends/supporters: The only personal ones on display from Reverend Wright to Bill Ayers/Rezco/Acorn+ a whole list with ties to extreme terrorist organizations to long to put here, when they became a liability Obama's response has been to attempt to distance himself by condeming their actions (when forced) but never the person with the exception of Reverend Wright (only after being personally chastised), when called out on these associations the response by Obama or his surrogates is to divert the attention by rolling out the flag of "guilt by association". 4.) As far as his accomplishments: his greatest claim to fame is his role as a community organizor, other than promoting a bunch of programs that have not delivered as promised that financially benefited himself and some of his associates that he has thrown under the bus. The fact that he served in the Il senate with a ton of present votes and the 4 months out of 3+ years in the senate actually showing up for work when he took a break from the campaign for his next job-what experience of relevance has he provided for review? Let alone any kind of executive experience.

5.) I will only address 2 of his public social views: Abortion and social promotion, Obama is not shy at all about his stance on the ending of a babies life in or out of the womb immediately after birth and his promotion of his "spread the wealth" and  womb to tomb government stance.

Any clear thinking individual taking a dispassionate look at these 5 things as they relate to character, judgement, and experience would have to conclude that this candidate is seriously flawed as someone that will in an honest open and conservative manner. If this is the type of Country you are in favor of then your choice should be clear.

Million Woman Town Hall

I've just been listening to the online recording of the Million Woman Tele-Townhall meeting.

I wonder how much coverage this first ever ground breaking event will be given by the mainstream media. I'm sure if something similar had been put together for a liberal candidate it would be on every channel. Assuming low coverage by the MSM it will be just one more nail in the coffin highlighting media bias.

It's too bad, because as I listened to the moderator, panelists and the questions posed by the callers, the discourse was civilized inciteful and informative. It would be wonderful if those in the MSM would use their immense resources to ask the type of questions posed by a voting block numbering over a million and to do their job of digging into these issue's and getting to the factual answers to those questions so that the population at large would have access to unbiased facts to make important decisions of the day.

I for one, along with it seems, a significant number of voters am concerned about what will happen to the climate of our culture if we are subjected to having all 3 branches of the government along with every major news outlet in the main stream media bowing to the most liberal and some might reasonably say socialist platform on how our country should operate.

It's bad enough that the conservative's we have elected have gone along with programs that are contrary to everything that conservative's hold dear. How much worse if there are absolutely no checks on those supposedly representing our desires--it is almost to much to wrap my head around.


We have the power to enforce our will. Yes the MSM is a tool that can be made to do their job but more importantly if each of us will do our part to stand on priciple and have the fortitude to express our views in the public marketplace-even at the risk of potentially offending someone by being Un politically correct; getting past such a surface concern and addressing real-critical-nation building issue's we can make a difference.
 
As a former chairman of a military absentee voting board I had to maintain a non partisan position. My job was to ensure that each member of the military was given the opportunity to vote. One of my main issue's I promoted was to encourage each member to get all of the facts surrounding issue's he was concerned about and then make a decision based on his own research and then vote. My admonition was if you don't educate yourself properly to make an informed vote or did not vote at all...then he would have no position to complain about the result.

My concern today is that, it seems all too often, the majority of our voting population does not investigate their candidates at all or if they do, it doesn't go deeper than a surface look. It seems that all to often, rhetoric over substance is carrying the day.

My call to action today is that everyone do their due diligence-don't leave it to someone else to tell you what to think. Then do you duty and vote based on the facts you find versus what your emotions may have led you to do.

Judge tosses lawsuit challenging Obama citizenship

A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit challenging Barack Obama's qualifications to be president.

U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick on Friday night rejected the suit by attorney Philip J. Berg, who alleged that Obama was not a U.S. citizen and therefore ineligible for the presidency. Berg claimed that Obama is either a citizen of his father's native Kenya or became a citizen of Indonesia after he moved there as a boy.

Obama was born in Hawaii to an American mother and a Kenyan father. His parents divorced and his mother married an Indonesian man.

Surrick ruled that Berg lacked standing to bring the case, saying any harm from an allegedly ineligible candidate was "too vague and its effects too attenuated to confer standing on any and all voters."
What did Surrick use as untainted evidence that Obama was born in Hawaii as part of his justification for his ruling. Since that was one of the very qeustions before his court to use that in his answer in denying the suit just doesn't make any sense. I find it very offending and downright scary to hear from the bench where justice is supposed to be blind to hear that someone that could be an ineligble candidate is to vague or that having one is of so little importance that there is any harm to voters at large. What is the man thinking? We've all heard where there is smoke there could be fire. When you start adding up everything surrounding Obama-from unsavory associations over long periods of time to the near total blackout of any official background information backed by hard evidence any objective observer quite naturally could come to the conclusion that there just might be something there worth looking at deeply and ferreting out the truth. Why in this one case is there so much effort to keep information secret. I want to know. I think something smells.
 
Untrue?! How does anyone know. Obama at every step does everything in his power to keep from providing information that every citizen has the right to know and needs to evaluate in order to make an intelligent decision. From a one page doctor's note on his health to college transcrips-to providing something as simple as an original birth certificate. I can't believe that potentially having an illegal alien sitting in the white house as our president and the most powerful position in the world does not raise itself to the level of being harmful to the citizens of this country. What is the problem in just finding out the truth whatever it is and moving forward appropriately.
When we will not look at facts whatever they may be to make intelligent decisions that is when it truly is: TOO BAD--SO SAD
